Now you can dial your most important phone numbers with the touch of a button, with Hometown Speed Dialing. This time saving service simply makes calling easier, and that can be important. With Speed Dialing, you'll dial calls more quickly and accurately than ever before. You won't have to look up numbers as often or risk misdialing.
Speed Dialing allows you to store thirty complete phone numbers in a two-digit code on your telephone. Just dial the Speed Calling code and you're connected.
You'll find Speed Dialing as easy to set up as it is to use.
To record numbers on your speed calling list:
- Pick up the receiver and wait for a dial tone.
- Press 75 and #.
- Wait for a second dial tone.
- Dial a two-digit code (20-49).
- Dial the complete phone number to be assigned the code you selected in the previous step. Include all necessary area codes, access codes, etc. You can enter a maximum of 16 digits.
- Wait for two or three short beeps. The beeps indicate the number has been assigned a code and is recorded.
To dial a number using Speed Dialing:
- Just dial the two-digit code for the number you want to reach and press #.
To change numbers on your speed calling list:
- Pick up the receiver and wait for a dial tone.
- Press 75 and #.
- Wait for a second dial tone.
- Dial a two-digit code (20-49).
- Dial the complete phone number to be assigned the code you selected in the previous step. Include all necessary area codes, access codes, etc. You can enter a maximum of 16 digits.
- Wait for two or three short beeps. The beeps indicate the new number has replaced the previous number in your Speed Dialing List.
