Usage Instructions
Hometown Remote Access to Call Forwarding provides you with the ability to remotely activate or deactivate Call Forwarding from any touch-tone telephone. Remote Access to Call Forwarding may be used when you are at home or another location.
To Forward Your Calls From a Remote Site:
- Lift the receiver and wait for the dial tone.
- Dial your special access number 772-345-7000.
- Dial the number you ordered Remote Access to Call Forwarding for.
- Dial your Personal Identification Number (PIN). This number is provided to you when you order Remote Access to Call Forwarding.
- Dial 72, press #, and wait for a second dial tone.
- Dial the telephone number where you are forwarding your calls. If this is a long distance number, remember to dial 1+area code and telephone number
- Listen for two or three short beeps. These beeps indicate that your telephone calls are now forwarded.
- The system recites the phone number where you are forwarding your calls. You can correct this number if necessary.
To Unforward Your Calls From a Remote Site:
- Pick up the receiver and wait for a dial tone.
- Dial your special access number 772-345-7000.
- Dial the number you ordered Remote Access to Call Forwarding for.
- Dial your Personal Identification Number (PIN).
- Dial 73, press #.
- Listen for two or three short beeps. These beeps indicate that Remote Access to Call Forwarding has been turned off.
