Ever wish you could forward high priority calls, without all your other calls following you? With Hometown Selective Call Forwarding, you can do just that. Selective Call Forwarding lets you transfer specific callers to another telephone number where you can be reached or where someone can take a message for you. You can create your own list of "telephone VIPs." Only calls from these people are forwarded. You can even route these calls to a long distance number.
To Turn on Selective Call Forwarding and Change the Forwarding Number:
- Lift the receiver and wait for a dial tone.
- Dial *63.
- Listen to the instructions.
NOTE: In some areas, you'll have to dial 3 after accessing Selective Call Forwarding to turn on the service.
- Enter the number where you want to forward your calls.
To Create a Selective Call Forwarding List and Add a Number to the List:
- Turn on Selective Call Forwarding.
- Press #, and wait for the tone.
- Dial the number you want to add to the list of Selective telephone numbers, and press #.
- To add more numbers to the list, repeat step 3.
To Add Your Last Call to the List:
- Turn on Selective Call Forwarding.
- Press #, and wait for the tone.
- Dial 01, and press #. The numbers on your Selective Called Forwarding List are called private entries when your list is reviewed.
To Remove a Number from the List:
- Dial *83 to turn off the Selective Call Forwarding service.
- Do one of the following:
- To remove a specific telephone number from your Selective Call Forwarding list, dial the number and press *.
- To remove all the telephone numbers on your list, dial 08.
- To remove all your private entries, dial 09.
- To save your Selective Call Forwarding list without making any changes, simply hang up.
To Review Your List:
- Turn on Selective Call Forwarding.
- Dial 1.
- To remove a number from your Selective Call Forwarding list, dial 07 immediately after hearing the number.
To repeat the recorded instructions for Selective Call Forwarding, dial 0.
To turn off Selective Call Forwarding, dial *83 and follow the recorded instructions.
